Take a look at the promo for “Cabin Fever”. Some minor spoilers.
I don’t know about you, but just having the word ‘Cabin’ in the title was enough to get me excited. I do love mythology episodes, and this looks set to be a great one.
Well then, that was…ok? Yes, ok is a good word for it. I think with so many Jack-centric episodes, they just seem a little bland at times. With him essentially being the main character of the show, and the fact we know he survives to leave the island, there didn’t seem to be too much point to the surgery.
But still, I was actually pleased to see Jack and Kate playing happy families. It didn’t take me long to figure out where these scenes slotted into the overall timeline, obviously the scenes we see in the Season 3 finale happen after this episode, and we get to see what starts the breakdown of Jack.
For those that are not that observant, we have switched over to using Wordpress for our front page. This should mean the front page will get updated with news much more often, as it’s idiot-proof enough for me to use on a regular basis!
Do bear with us as we iron out the template kinks, but on the whole it’s looking good.
Due to the effect of the Writers Strike, the ‘lost’ hours will be placed as 1 extra episode each into seasons 5 and 6 of Lost.

With the good news that Lost will be receiving an extra episode this year to bring the total of Seasion 4 to 14 hours - there’s the bad news that the return will be delayed by 7 days for Sky viewers.
According to Sky Programme Information, Lost will return on May 4th, which will means UK viewers will be two episodes behind the American viewings until the two hour season finale (May 29th, US - June 1st, UK) where they will make the extra week up with a double episode finale.
It has been confirmed today that Lost will be getting an extra episode, bringing the total for Season 4 up to 14 episodes. So after all the fears due to the writers strike, we are actually only getting two less than was originally planned! Sure 14 episodes is still quite a lot less than previous series, but I hope you’ll agree with me that so far the quality has been much higher per-episode than previous seasons. Only 12 more days until Lost returns to Sky One!
According to a source that contacted the spoiler website DarkUFO, Michael Emerson (who plays Ben) and Yunjin Kim (Sun), along with director Jack Bender landed at Heathrow Airport on Thursday morning to shoot scenes for an upcoming episode of Lost.
The source speculates the scenes that are going to be filmed over the next few days will be scenes for this years finale, based on the fact that Jack Bender has directed Lost’s season finale for the past 3 years.
The Shape of Things to Come

Locke’s camp comes under attack, and Jack tries to discover the identity of a body that has washed ashore.

Tonight’s shock episode of Lost saw the return of one character and departure of another (sort of!).
Michael returned as Ben’s man on the boat “Kevin Johnson” a twist which the majority of our forum members had seen coming, but it didn’t quite bag the end of episode cliff-hanger most had been expecting, that was saved for another twist… that our favourite short-tempered Korean Lostie is no longer with us!
Also, in another shake-up to the way we watch the Lost story unfold, the fourth season’s 7th episode “Ji Yeon” used both flash-backs of Jin’s life before the crash of Oceanic 815 AND flash-forwards of Suns life after her rescue from the Island.
We learn that Jin doesn’t make it off the island to see the birth of his first child, a daughter named Ji Yeon, but that he is apparently no longer with us. Is he dead? Is he left behind on the Island? What’s going on? His tombstone tells us the date of his death was September 24, 2004… and we all know what happened on that day!

And don’t forget, next weeks episode “Meet Kevin Johnson” is the last episode until April 27th – the Lost team is currently busy writing a new set of five episodes to finish the season now that the Writers Guild of America’s strike is over.
