ABC have annouced that Season 5 will conclude with a double episode on: May 13th in the US. In the UK the 2 hour episode will air on the 17th, 9pm, Sky1 and Sky1HD. Behind the cut is a run down the remaining episode air dates, & a minor spoiler - the title of the final episode!

According to io9, Lost will air the Season 5 premiere on Wednesday 21st January with a 2 hour premiere (with a 1 hour clip-show beforehand).
If we go by this year’s difference in US and UK air dates I would say there’s a good chance this all means the UK air date will be Sunday 25th January. Later in the month than I was hoping for, but still not too far off now!

For anyone that may have missed any recent episodes of Lost, Sky One are showing the episodes from 4×09 all the way through to the season 4 finale, back to back from 2pm on Sunday 1st June.
So that’s everyone’s Sunday afternoon, evening and night planned then, yes?

With the good news that Lost will be receiving an extra episode this year to bring the total of Seasion 4 to 14 hours - there’s the bad news that the return will be delayed by 7 days for Sky viewers.
According to Sky Programme Information, Lost will return on May 4th, which will means UK viewers will be two episodes behind the American viewings until the two hour season finale (May 29th, US - June 1st, UK) where they will make the extra week up with a double episode finale.

It has been confirmed today that Lost will be getting an extra episode, bringing the total for Season 4 up to 14 episodes. So after all the fears due to the writers strike, we are actually only getting two less than was originally planned! Sure 14 episodes is still quite a lot less than previous series, but I hope you’ll agree with me that so far the quality has been much higher per-episode than previous seasons. Only 12 more days until Lost returns to Sky One!

LOST returns to Sky One at the new time of 9pm on Sunday, Febuary 3rd.
Adverts are now airing on all Sky channels with sneak peaks of the first few episodes! If you catch one of the adverts, you can set a reminder for the episode by pressing the green button on your Sky remote!

After 8 1/2 months off air - LOST returns in 2 weeks with 8 brand new episodes.
 
Why only 8?? Currently the WGA (Writers Guild of America) is on strike over a pay dispute (which you can read about in more detail here) this means that LOST had to stop production after filming it’s eight episode (of 16) - we’re not sure how long the strike is going to last, but as soon as we know - we will let you know!
