Oceanic Six

“The Oceanic Six” is the name given to the six passengers of flight Oceanic 815 who are “found” alive 102 days after the plane went missing on a flight from Sydney, Australia to Los Angeles, USA.

 

The members of the Oceanic Six are Jack Shephard, Kate Austen, Hugo “Hurley” Reyes, Sayid Jarrah, Aaron Littleton and Sun-Hwa Kwon.

History

We first hear the phrase “Oceanic Six” in the Season 4 opening episode, The Beginning of The End, when it shouted by Hurley as he is being arressed following a car chase.

We learn more about them in the Kate-Centric episode “Eggtown”
as Jack tells the (fake) story of how they were the only passengers that survived the crash and managed to live on a deserted Island alone for over 100 days before they are found alive and rescued.
